Shannon Wilk

My name is Shannon Wilk and I am the founder of Rockin’ Interviews. I am a music journalist, music photographer, and musician based in Connecticut. I’ve had a love for rock music for as long as I can remember - I grew up listening to predominantly hair metal. When I say that you’re probably thinking I grew up in the ‘80s but I actually grew up in the 2000s. When I first started this publication I was a kid with a dream of one day making it in the music industry and ever since then I’ve worked day in and day out to make that dream come to fruition. At Rockin’ Interviews, all the content is and always has been my own - every interview, podcast, photo gallery, review, etc. Throughout my career as a journalist I have interviewed members of legendary rock bands including UFO, Whitesnake, Alice Cooper band, Ratt, and more. Back in February 2020, I spent a week out in the Caribbean photographing 40+ concerts as a member of the media team on the Monsters of Rock Cruise. Through all these experiences I have gotten to connect with so many amazing people in the industry and I cannot wait to see where my journey will go from here.
