Concert Review/Photo Gallery: Live United Live Music Festival Day 2 @ Spyglass Ridge Winery in Sunbury, PA 6/6/21

Day 2 – This past weekend, a slew of iconic ‘80s hard rock bands took a trip down to Spyglass Ridge Winery in Sunbury, PA for the Live United Live Music Festival benefiting youth mental health through the Greater Susquehanna Valley United Way. Thousands of people packed into the field for two blisteringly hot days filled with rock n’ roll, friends, and fun.

Day 2 started off on a high note with the very first live show from a vibrant band called Bohemian Queen. Not only were they an amazing band who accurately played the classic Queen tunes, but they also paid homage to the different eras of the band with the vocalist changing wardrobe to depict Freddie Mercury in each era.

Next off was an exciting performance by the students at School of Rock Clark, NJ proving rock n’ roll will never die.

School of Rock Clark:

Halfway through the day was Eric Martin of Mr. Big, with his backing band featuring Steve Brown and Pj Farley of Trixter and Joey Cassata, playing the hits from Mr. Big and Trixter. All I can say is that they have not lost any of their spark as performers.

Eric Martin:

Firehouse hit the stage just as the sun was setting and they most definitely brought the heat. Their setlist consisted of their self-titled debut album in almost its entirety which was exciting for me since that album is one of my all-time favorites.

Firehouse:

The headliner for the night is arguably one of the most underrated bands of the era in terms of technical skill and musicality – Winger.
